![]() ![]() ![]() It's ok I can fight him more until i figure out the mechanics (i am not looking for spoilers), probably have to focus the tentacles first or get a very high stun with high speed, or even some riposte dps build (does riposte trigger multiple times if i have 2-3 heroes with riposte enabled?) but in the meantime i just want to know how to avoid him / how to make him spawn less. I do fine on health but his attack that does 40-50 or so stress every time just stresses out everyone to madnes in a couple of turns and i have to run. Is that the case? What i am doing to attract him so often? My guess is that he comes whenever you try to run a dark (zero light) run. I am not talking about the torch, i am talking just about him spawning as a regular fight. right now i am just trying to get to a veteran boss but shambler spawns every time. When the shambler doesn't spawn, it's a fairly easy spawn. ![]() (As a side note, the Antiquarian is a *hilarious* pick to bring to fight the Siren.Ok so i started doing veteran maps lately, on 5 tries 3 of them had shambler and i had to cancel my run. Then on my actual mission runs I can ignore most loot and focus on the objective. Seer stone or something to boost scouting can help make decisions for you too, but that's general strategy? Don't usually even need a healer if you double-load damage next to both of them, and the Antiquarian can be in any party slot as she's just looting. Man-At-Arms is good front-row synergy with the Antiquarian too (who can make him defend her while he triggers his own riposte). I've gotten a max of around 22.5k on a short level 1 dungeon run in the dark when I didn't bring any heirlooms back (that includes a Collector kill and secret room I think? Definitely the secret room though) 7 torches and very little food will still net you around 10k-12k gold a short run easy if you need money and aren't racing to win the game before Week X. I like using a Bloodthirst Ring (or Fasting Seal if you're that lucky) to make less of your party eat. ![]() So just one of many ways to do things, but every mission you do just for funds and/or heirlooms, you can bring the Antiquarian and a low level team into a short level 1 dungeon (there should always be ONE at least on the mission select?) Have the Antiquarian loot everything to get the extra antiques and fight everything you can. ![]()
